Whether your dream is to work for an airline or in an airport, cruise line or rail company, a hotel or a tourism provider, or in events management, this degree will provide you with the tools to take on a management role within the broader travel industry.

Tourism and Aviation Management incorporates the world of aviation operations, travel and tourism, as well as hospitality. Whether you have studied a Foundation Degree in these areas, or you are interested in developing your knowledge of management, this innovative degree could be perfect for you.

This degree has been developed with input from industry employers. During your degree, you will have the opportunity to network with employers, build a professional online profile and participate in guest lectures and live briefs to support your personal and professional development.

It is estimated that by 2035 one in three jobs globally will be in the travel industry, so no matter what your area of interest, studying our BA (Hons) Tourism and Aviation Management (Top-Up) Degree will equip you with relevant skills and experiences to succeed in this growing sector.

Entry requirements

Pass or higher in Level 5 Foundation Degree, Diploma in Higher Education or HND (in a related subject).

You may also be invited to a discretionary interview.

If you are a current Newcastle College University Centre student and successfully pass a Foundation Degree in an appropriate subject[s], you will be guaranteed a place on this course.

Applicants are normally expected to have achieved grade 4 or higher in GCSE Maths and English or the Level 2 equivalent (i.e. Functional Skills or Adult Literacy/Numeracy).

Acceptance is subject to a satisfactory DBS clearance.

At Newcastle College University Centre we welcome applications from students studying new T-Level qualifications.
