If you are a current Newcastle College student and successfully meet the published Level 3 entry criteria in an appropriate subject(s), you will be guaranteed a place on this course.  

Applicants are normally expected to have achieved grade 4 or higher in GCSE English and maths or the Level 2 equivalence (i.e. Functional Skills or Adult Literacy/Numeracy).

During the FdA Health, Social Care and Wellbeing degree, you can take part in progression days and events to get you work-ready for industry. You'll also be prepared for interviews and given live briefs by employers. On this healthcare course, you will be offered the opportunity to undertake a work placement which will enhance your CV.

Once you have successfully completed this FdA Integrated Health, Social Care and Wellbeing degree, you can progress onto our Honours Degree (BSc) in Integrated Health, Social Care and Wellbeing (Top-Up), or you could enter employment in a variety of health, social care and wellbeing-related roles, including social worker, nurse, learning mentor or support manager.
