At Newcastle College University Centre, our Hospitality and Tourism degree students train in professional kitchens and restaurants that mirror the demands of the industry, helping you to develop the skills and confidence to progress into a successful career.
Our Hospitality facilities hold Gold Centre of Excellence status for Food and Beverages and for Patisserie and Confectionery, recognising the outstanding training available to our students.

The Chefs’ Academy
Our AA College Rosette ‘Highly Commended’ à la carte restaurant, open to the public and serving the finest regional produce. Here, you’ll learn from award-winning chefs and restaurant managers while delivering an exceptional dining experience for guests.
The Bistro
Our busy Lifestyle Academy restaurant offers daily breakfasts and lunches. In this fast-paced setting, you’ll gain valuable front-of-house and kitchen experience, preparing you for the realities of the hospitality sector.
