Parents and Carers
At Newcastle College University Centre, we know how important it is to have the support of family while studying for a degree. Starting higher education is a big step and while our students are independent adults, we want them to feel reassured that they’re supported every step of the way.
Academic Support
Our students receive one-to-one support from their course tutors and can also turn to Academic Support Coaches for help with assignments, dissertations and using resources like Moodle, Turnitin and the Library.

Our dedicated Higher Education Support Team team offers a wide range of support including counselling, mental health support, disability advice and financial guidance. Staying Involved
While we can’t share individual student information (as all students are independent adults), there are lots of ways you can stay connected with your child’s journey. From open days and campus events to graduation ceremonies, parents and carers are always welcome to celebrate milestones with us.
