We can provide one-to-one support for you on various career management and employability skills such as:

Exploring potential career pathways
How to search for jobs alongside completing your studies
How to create and tailor your CVs and cover letters
How to write a master’s personal statement
Support with job and postgraduate course applications
Development of remote and face-to-face interview skills

Advice on developing a LinkedIn profile
Developing a career plan
Support with sourcing work placements
Advice and support on how to effectively network
Tests and assessment centres

We also offer drop-in sessions in Parsons TEN for anyone wanting to ask a quick or last-minute question. Drop-in times are shared on our Teams Employability and Careers channel.

Careers Teams site

The University Centre has a dedicated Teams channel filled with resources and links to support current students with identifying their skills throughout their course. The team share weekly updates on live events, online webinars, networking events and any other sessions which you may benefit from reading up on to guide you through your options.

Careers events

Our Careers and Employability coaches tap into local and online webinars and networking events to help you build up your confidence and to help you broaden your knowledge around the world of work. Live Teams webinars are also presented by our coaches to offer information about guidance and next steps.

Graduate career support

Our Coaches continue to offer support for graduates up until three years after graduation. Whether you are ready for work and want support on how to search for suitable vacancies or if you would like some support on what options are open to you after graduation, all you need to do is email the team at HEEmployability@ncl-coll.ac.uk

We can also book in live zoom calls or telephone calls.
